KHATVANGHA - TANTRIK RITUAL WAND
THREE HEADS - VAJRA / HAND CARVED FROM IRON - VISHWAKARMA WORKSHOP


This is an excellent ritual piece, a hand-carved iron khatvangha from a Vishwakarma workshop in Nepal. The khatvangha is 14 inches long, with three heads , the bottom head with crown of skulls, the middle head standard human, the upper head pure skull. The top and bottom are capped with 5 pointed vajras and there are some carvings on the handle itself. On the reverse side of the skull, the syllables "OM AH HUM" are carved.

"It is a kind of club, made from bone of forearm or leg, sometimes wood and metal. It is a magic wand held by tantric deities, Dakinis and Vajrayana saints. It is generally surmounted either by vajra or kapala or the trishula or the banner or all of them. In any case for a khatvangha the skulls are necessary and it will be so called even if nothing else is present"

The top and bottom are capped with 5 pointed vajras and there is a double pointed vajra in the very center, the intricate carving which is highly prized. There are also dragon carvings on the handle.

Hand-carved Jade Goddess

This one-of-a-kind Goddess is hand-carved from pale green jade. She is approximately 6cm tall x 3cm wide and 14mm deep. She is drilled at the top and can be worn as a pendant or used as a unique altar object. She is styled on the Venus of Willendorf.

She comes packaged in a small pouch with a cotton cord.

This is a one-off. Once she has gone, we will not be able to replace her with similar carvings.

Ritual Drinking Horn

PLEASE ENQUIRE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE HORNS TO MAKE YOUR OWN DRINKING VESSELS. WE GENERALLY CARRY A SMALL RANGE OF RITUALLY PREPARED STEER HORNS

This drinking horn is crafted by nature & decorated with feathers, wood beads and plaited leather thong.  This Drinking Horn is 420mm in length, 75mm across its mouth and weighs 500g. Suitable to drink from in any Ritual situation. IT IS MADE FROM STEER HORN

Waxed throughout with beeswax.


We do occassionally have a range of prepared steer horns which we purchase from a Santeria in Florida and are prepared in a sacred manner, for ritual use. They are excellent for making your own drinking horn. Please enquire if you are interested in a horn. They are generally $35 - $60 each depending on size.
